Former member of the House of Representatives, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on Thursday, filed a libel suit in Lagos High Court, against one of the new generation banks, for allegedly publishing her name in the list of chronic debtors. According to Dabiri-Erewa, the suit against the organisation, is to demand a retraction and an apology from them. Abike made the statement on her twitter handle @abikedabiri Recall that in an advertisement published by the bank in compliance with the Central Bank directive that bad debtors be exposed and shamed, it was said that Abike-Dabiri and a company identified as Thriller Endeavours owed it a chronic debt of N122 million. - Source: www.vanguardngr.com
